Books

We have been designing and producing  printed materials for close to thirty years, and bring that experience to every  project.

We have extensive experience in all aspects of book and publication design, layout, and printing. We understand the impact typography has on the reader, and take great care to match the flavor of the manuscript in print. We will take your manuscript and import it into our layout program. Then, we’ll work with you through the proofing stages until the book is as perfect as it can be before either giving you press-ready PDF files or sending them directly to the printer. If you have a particular page count in mind, we will do our best to match it exactly. We also know what layout tricks to use to enable the most optimal export for ebook format.

Photos

We love great photos, and take care to touch up those provided to us so that they will look their best when printed. We can also remove unwanted artifacts, make composite photos, and perform other photographic manipulations to enhance the impact or quality of the image.

Graphics

We can create charts, technical drawings, collages, illustrations, and other graphic elements, either as stand-alone items or for inclusion in publications or other printed materials.

Printer Coordination

If you don’t have your own printer lined up, we can recommend some. We are experienced in communicating with printers, setting up files to their specifications, and preparing photos and graphics so that they will print their best on whatever press and paper will be used.
